Optics-Video

The optics-video activity involves a lot of filming, either still photography or video for the whole of the CSG. The development of silver-based paper for some photographs requires a dark room. It should be noted that silver-based film is gradually being replaced by digital photography and video.

* Pollution:              

 - production of special industrial waste: batteries, trays of waste chemicals, etc.

 - risk of fumes from chemical products

 - risk of spilling or splashing

* Procedures introduced:

- station for treating chemical effluents to recover silver salts and to neutralise pH and other

  parameters before releasing fluids into the technical centre purification station

- individual protection

- extraction of small amounts of vapour to the outside.
