The CSG under military protection

The security in a space centre is essential to prevent any kind of risk. Whether during launches or not, the Army ensures an effective protection. Several actors are involved in the security ot the space centre :

• the Gendarmerie (Military Police)
• the Army thanks to the French Foreign Legion (3rd regiment)
• the Air Force 
• and the Navy

To ensure their daily missions, the army forces have considerable resources at their disposal.
