Placements

The placement policy at the Guiana Space Centre is to recruit trainees from member countries of the ESA. Overall, CNES takes 300 young trainees every year. Placements across the four CNES centres are offered to students :

• in their final year of engineering studies
• terminating university studies
• or with a two-year post-school-leaving qualification.

These placements must be required by and an integral part of the academic training course so that an agreement can be signed between the college or University and CNES.
