Kourou, June 24, 2010 Due to a launch vehicle pressurization anomaly on the main cryogenic stage during final countdown operations for Flight 195, Arianespace has decided to postpone the launch. A new date for the mission will be announced as soon as possible. |

Kourou, French Guiana, June 24, 2010. Following additional checks, Arianespace has decided to restart the final countdown for its mission with the ARABSAT 5A and COMS satellites. Liftoff of the Ariane 5 launcher is now set for the night of Thursday, June 24, as early as possible in the following launch window: From 6:41 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., local time in Kourou, French Guiana. FLIGHT 195 – ARABSAT 5B - COMS: LAUNCH DELAYED

Kourou, June 23, 2010 - During final count-down operations for Flight 195, an anomaly occurred in a launcher subsystem. As a result, Arianespace has begun investigations to identify the cause of this anomaly. The launch vehicle and its satellites have been placed in stand-by mode and maintained in fully safe conditions. The invitations to attend the launch are still valid for new launch date which will be announced as soon as possible. |
